Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A valid Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
  • A successful passing score on the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
  • Strong understanding of mental health software systems, especially electronic health records (EHR).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, paired with a compassionate and empathetic approach to counseling.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of experience providing clinical mental health counseling in outpatient settings.
  • Experience in group therapy facilitation, particularly for common emotional and behavioral issues.
