• Conduct individualized and group therapy sessions for clients, focusing on their unique treatment goals.
• Thoroughly document all patient interactions, including progress notes that reflect the client’s journey toward personal and therapeutic goals, ensuring completion by the end of each shift.
• Provide appropriate patient observations and support, always ready to assist with personal needs and address emergencies as they arise under nursing supervision.
• Utilize your knowledge of DSM-5 for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning tailored to the needs of diverse clients.
• Engage in continuous communication with clients and their families, guiding them through the therapeutic process and orienting them to our services.
• Advocate for clients' additional services when necessary to enhance their treatment outcomes.
• Monitor patient behaviors, demonstrating an understanding of warning signs for potential crises and executing appropriate crisis management techniques.

You will work with a varied patient demographic, including adults, children, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. This role requires sensitivity to each client's unique needs and circumstances, ensuring that the therapeutic approaches used are inclusive and effective. Your interventions will be centered around fostering healthy relationships and empowering clients to engage actively in their mental health journey.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Current licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of California.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, demonstrating an ability to effectively manage caseloads.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems to maintain accurate treatment documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with team members.
• Adept time management skills with an ability to prioritize effectively in a busy clinical environment.

• Experience in providing marriage and family therapy services, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of familial dynamics.
• Prior experience working with multicultural populations, showcasing flexibility and adaptability in therapeutic techniques.
• Knowledge of specific treatment modalities that align with our center’s holistic philosophy, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness interventions.
