Interventional - The Interventional business unit at Teleflex offers innovative medical devices that are used to diagnose and treat coronary and peripheral vascular diseases. Position Summary

The Sales Representative drives sales growth and clinical adoption of interventional cardiology products within an assigned territory by promoting product utilization across new and existing accounts. The representative develops and executes strategic territory plans while building strong, multi-level relationships within healthcare accounts. Success requires deep product and clinical knowledge, adaptability in communication, and a strong focus on delivering value to customers and improving patient outcomes, while operating in compliance with company policies.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Develop territory plan to achieve quota
  • Supports existing accounts and identifies new opportunities
  • Provides product education, in-services, and basic procedural support.
  • Builds relationships with physicians, nurses, and staff.
  • Manages territory operations (CRM, reporting, credentialing).
  • Develops foundational product and clinical knowledge.
Education / Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, equivalent experience, or RT certification; clinical background a plus.
  • 1-3 years of sales or clinical experience in healthcare or related field.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
  • Foundational knowledge of medical devices and clinical environments.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organization and time management.
  • Ability to travel with short notice travel to support customer needs, provide case coverage, and attend regional or national meetings.
  • Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Be able to lift and carry 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout large hospitals 6 - 10 hours per day
  • Must be able to establish and maintain active vendor credentials (e.g., RepTrax, Vendormate) as required to enter hospitals and medical facilities, this is an essential function of the role.
  • Must also be able to work in sterile clinical environments and comply with all hospital safety and dress code requirements, including lead apron use in fluoroscopy-active rooms where applicable.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $216,000.00 (inclusive of commissions) however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  Commissions will also vary depending on individual performance.  The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability and parental leave, dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position," and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
