Job description

Radiology Partners is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologist to join their practice in Bowling Green, KY. This role offers a partnership track option and involves a mix of interventional and diagnostic radiology duties. The position provides an opportunity to work in a collaborative, physician-led group covering 13 hospitals and 17 imaging centers across Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PICC lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, core biopsies, fine needle aspirations, thyroid biopsies, lumbar puncture, myelograms, arthrograms, abscess drainage, nephrostomy and biliary tube placement, and fluoroscopy procedures
  • Handle approximately 8-10 patient facing cases in a normal day
  • Participate in 10 remote Dx weekends annually
  • Take approximately 1 overnight Dx call shift every 3 weeks, going in only for emergencies

  • Salary range for this position is $600,000-$900,000

Shift & Schedule

  • Full-time (30+ hrs/week)
  • Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • 210 shifts total annually with 10 remote Dx weekends
  • Dx Call - approximately 1 overnight call shift every 3 weeks (only going in for emergencies)

Requirements

  • Experience with PICC lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, core biopsies, fine needle aspirations, thyroid biopsies, lumbar puncture, myelograms, arthrograms, abscess drainage, nephrostomy and biliary tube placement, and fluoroscopy procedures
  • A plus if experienced with kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, and pain management procedures such as epidural steroid injections
  • MD or DO
  • Residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Completion of a post-residency fellowship or integrated residency training in vascular interventional radiology
  • BE/BC by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
  • Licensed in or have the ability to be licensed in the state of TN and KY
