This position operates within a remote outpatient framework, allowing for flexibility in managing client sessions while maintaining a structure that supports effective therapeutic practices. • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and crisis interventions, ensuring that each client’s unique needs are thoroughly assessed and prioritized.
• Provide individualized counseling services to incarcerated individuals and outpatient clients, aiding in their understanding of behavioral issues while offering supportive therapeutic strategies.
• Coordinate and determine appropriate treatment levels for patients, collaborating with the Department of Corrections as well as various institutional programs to ensure effective care continuity.
• Lead group therapy sessions in specialized units, facilitating discussions and therapeutic exercises aimed at fostering community and understanding among participants.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and other necessary records, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Engage in weekly clinical supervision with a Clinical Supervisor to enhance professional development and maintain high standards of patient care.
• Participate in case conferences and multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment planning and disposition for patients under care.
• Utilize psychological testing tools as needed, contributing to evidence-based treatment strategies tailored to individualized patient care.
• Oversee and mentor social work interns or student volunteers, providing educational support to foster the next generation of mental health professionals.
• Fulfill any additional duties as assigned by supervisory leadership, actively contributing to team initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes.

The primary focus of this position is on individuals within correctional facilities, along with outpatient clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including severe mental illnesses and complex behavioral issues. Your expertise will provide much-needed support to a vulnerable population, ensuring they receive appropriate mental health care designed to promote recovery and well-being.

• A valid state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of five years of full-time, paid experience providing direct clinical care within a behavioral health environment.
• At least two years of supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.

• Proven experience conducting assessments and creating treatment plans for clients with complex behavioral health needs.
• Background in working within correctional facilities or similar settings, demonstrating a structured approach to mental health care in unique environments.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies and methodologies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy.

The salary for this role ranges between USD 115,000 – 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
