  • Participate in case conferences and multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment planning and disposition for patients under care.
  • Utilize psychological testing tools as needed, contributing to evidence-based treatment strategies tailored to individualized patient care.
  • Oversee and mentor social work interns or student volunteers, providing educational support to foster the next generation of mental health professionals.
  • Fulfill any additional duties as assigned by supervisory leadership, actively contributing to team initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this position is on individuals within correctional facilities, along with outpatient clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including severe mental illnesses and complex behavioral issues. Your expertise will provide much-needed support to a vulnerable population, ensuring they receive appropriate mental health care designed to promote recovery and well-being.

Qualifications
  • A valid state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of five years of full-time, paid experience providing direct clinical care within a behavioral health environment.
  • At least two years of supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
