• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health, establishing a clear understanding of their needs, challenges, and therapy goals.
• Facilitate engaging and evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions addressing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management.
• Develop custom treatment plans with measurable goals tailored to each client’s unique situation, integrating their preferences and feedback into the therapeutic process.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, utilizing de-escalation techniques and appropriate referral protocols when necessary.
• Educate clients on their mental health conditions, effective coping mechanisms, and local community resources to foster independence and personal development.
• Keep meticulous and confidential client records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring adherence to all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other counselors, to provide holistic and comprehensive care.
• Uphold ethical standards in clinical practice, securing informed consent and maintaining client confidentiality in all interactions.
• Demonstrate cultural competence by effectively working with clients from varied backgrounds and life experiences, tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet diverse needs.

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
