Position Overview

Insight Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a remote setting based out of Fresno, California. This is a full-time position where you will leverage your skills to support individuals and families in navigating mental health challenges. You will play a pivotal role in crafting individualized treatment plans and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, all while maintaining a flexible work schedule that fits your personal commitments.

About the Organization

At Insight Therapy Services, our mission is centered around providing compassionate, trauma-informed care to those who have experienced adversity. Our practice specializes in delivering customized support that aligns with individual needs through the application of proven therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). We take pride in creating a safe and supportive atmosphere where both our clients and therapists can thrive.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote, making it accessible to individuals across California while embracing a modern and flexible work culture. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses, all committed to delivering comprehensive care to our clients. This unique work environment encourages collaboration and innovation, as you engage with colleagues across various disciplines to ensure the best possible outcomes for those we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments, to identify client needs and treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, cultural backgrounds, and personal goals.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in individual, couple, family, and group settings.
  • Provide crisis intervention services and liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for clients experiencing acute distress.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentationโ€”including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summariesโ€”in line with clinic policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Empower clients and their families through psychoeducation that promotes understanding and management of mental health conditions.
  • Regularly assess treatment outcomes and adjust treatment plans based on progress and evolving client needs.
  • Engage with current research and best practices in mental health care, integrating this knowledge into clinical practice.
  • Adhere to all ethical guidelines and confidentiality requirements to safeguard patient information.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on children, adolescents, and their families who encounter emotional and psychological challenges within the school environment. You will foster a supportive space to process trauma, manage behavioral issues, and navigate life's transitions, empowering clients to develop coping strategies that foster resilience and growth.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
  • Demonstrated capability for independent work, as well as proficiency in collaborative environments with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in school-based therapy or familiarity with the educational environment and related challenges is preferred.
  • Proven track record in providing crisis intervention and support to at-risk populations.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining clinical documentation.
Compensation and Benefits
  • The annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Eligible candidates may benefit from a robust 401(k) plan, comprehensive health insurance options, including dental and vision coverage, as well as generous paid time off.
  • Additional perks may include professional development opportunities and access to mental health resources.
Career Growth Opportunities

Insight Therapy Services values continual professional development, offering avenues for advanced training and specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, childrenโ€™s mental health, and more.
