Vera Healthcare Center, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Key Responsibilities

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will play a crucial role in our clinical team by:

  • Conducting therapeutic sessions with couples, providing joint counseling, and facilitating individual sessions when needed.
  • Utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges faced by clients.
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the specific needs of families and individuals, developing tailored treatment plans to guide therapy.
  • Offering specialized support for issues such as alcohol abuse, conflict within families, adjustment to separation or divorce, and grief and loss.
  • Encouraging open communication among family members and enhancing interpersonal relationships.
  • Documenting all sessions and maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participating in team meetings and training sessions to promote ongoing professional development and peer support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • A demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional patient care and achieving clinical outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster patient rapport.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences will be given preference:

  • Experience working in community health settings or clinics.
  • Familiarity with telehealth practices and online counseling methodologies.
