Job description

Senior Project Manager – Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex technical projects within our Engineering team. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has experience managing projects in technical, construction, fire & life safety, security, or integrated systems environments, with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, internal teams, and regulatory authorities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and oversee project execution and performance.
  • Monitor risks, manage project documentation, and provide regular project updates.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Mandatory experience with Fire Alarm Projects.
  • Proven Project Management experience in technical or construction-related environments.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and project management methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, NICET, SET, OSHA, or similar certifications.
  • Technical background in installation, engineering, service, or field supervision.
  • Experience working with inspectors, fire marshals, or regulatory agencies.
  • Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset.
  • Availability to Travel (30% - 40%).


Work Environment and Location:

  • Location: Remote
  • Must travel to Boise for 3 months in a current ongoing project.
  • Work shift: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM (Arizona timezone)
