Essential Functions

Specific tasks, responsibilities or competencies may be documented in the incumbent’s performance objectives as outlined by the incumbent’s immediate supervisor or manager.
1. Manages clearly defined project plans and project schedules and monitors progress.
2. Works across multiple projects simultaneously and fosters partnerships with customers, stakeholders and sponsors.
3. Aligns projects’ objectives with company goals, and ensures project teams are clear on objectives
4. Leads the process of issue identification and resolution, manages the scope, risk tracking process and documentation of all assigned projects
5. Manages budgets and allocates project resources
6. Facilitates and troubleshoots problems associated with developing complex systems or with coordinating and development, and design projects

Marginal or Additional Functions

1. May deliver and install technology solutions based on project deliverables.
2. Protects company’s intellectual property and the privacy of customers’ data.
3. Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.


Supervisory and Managerial Responsibility

• Direct supervisory/managerial responsibility is not applicable, but the position does lead, counsel, and mentor others.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education, Licensure or Certification:
• Knowledge of computer science or engineering or a closely related field as normally obtained through the
completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent preferred
Work Experience or Related Experience:
• 1-2 years’ experience as a project lead
• Operational experience in a hospice environment is strongly preferred
• Hospice, durable medical equipment, pharmacy, managed care or other pertinent health care services industry experience strongly preferred
Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Knowledge of project management applications and principles is required is required to perform the essential functions described.
• Knowledge of principles involved in resource allocation, budgeting, and coordination of people and resources is required to perform the essential functions described.
• The ability to encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members is essential.
• The ability to be proactive and self-directed utilizing good time management, decision-making, and organization skills is required. Incumbents must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• A good understanding of the Company’s products, technologies, selling strategies and internal business functions is necessary to become proficient and competent in this role
• The ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow standard operating procedures with regard to patient data to ensure compliance with HIPPA is required.
• Must have the ability to work in a fast pace entrepreneurial environment
