The Senior Project Manager is a high-level individual contributor within the project management function, responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex, high-value, and strategically important projects, typically ranging up to $20–70M in scope depending on complexity and business impact. This role requires strong project leadership, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to operate effectively in dynamic, high-stakes environments.

The Senior Project Manager brings advanced expertise in project management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and change leadership. A key focus of this role is building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, serving as a reliable delivery partner who ensures alignment between project execution and expected outcomes.

Operating without direct supervisory responsibility over functional teams, the Senior Project Manager leverages influence, credibility, and deep project expertise to:

  • Lead end-to-end execution of complex, cross-functional projects and programs.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope definition, schedules, budgets, resource planning, and risk management strategies.
  • Ensure delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Apply appropriate project management methodologies based on project size, complexity, and business needs.
Governance & Risk Management
  • Establish and maintain project governance aligned with organizational standards and best practices.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation plans as needed.
  • Escalate critical issues in a timely manner to ensure project continuity and alignment.
  • Ensure adherence to established project management processes, tools, and reporting requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, business stakeholders, and internal project teams.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for project status, risks, and delivery updates.
  • Facilitate clear, consistent communication across internal teams and external partners.
