We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Audit team to:

  • Be responsible for the completion of compilation, review and audit engagements
  • Examine records to ensure proper recording and authorization of transactions, compliance with policies and applicable laws
  • Prepare detailed reports of audit findings and recommendations for client companies and prepare portions of compilation, review, and audit engagements
  • In-charge staff on client engagements and perform a first level review of staff assigned work
  • Demonstrate the ability to efficiently research audit topics of intermediate complexity
  • Assist in developing and coaching professional staff
  • Help develop, build and manage client relationships

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of audit and attest services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Client service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Strong analytical, mathematical and critical thinking abilities
  • Shows ambition, drive, and takes initiative for all tasks
  • Ability to multitask and handle several engagements at a time, while working independently
  • Microsoft Office proficiency

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related degree, accounting preferred
  • CPA or CPA candidate
  • Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience required
  • Experience with tax preparation and review services is a plus

This is a 60% in-office and 40% remote hybrid position in St Louis, MO.
