POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an Interior Designer to join a collaborative design team. This is an opportunity to grow your career in a meaningful way contributing to high-end residential and commercial projects from concept through completion, developing your technical and client-facing skills alongside experienced designers, and building toward greater project ownership over time. The ideal candidate brings creative curiosity, strong technical foundations, and a genuine desire to do the work right.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participate in all phases of interior design projects from schematic design through construction administration, with increasing responsibility as experience develops
  • Collaborate closely with the architectural team to support client communications, project schedules, and budgets
  • Contribute to overall interior design direction including architectural integration, millwork design, furniture selection, material and fabric specifications, and lighting design
  • Assist in the design of custom casework including preparation of shop drawings and coordination with fabricators
  • Support preparation of specifications, purchasing processes, and installation scheduling
  • Help develop client proposals, presentation boards (both physical and digital), cost estimates, and scopes of work
  • Present design concepts and material selections to clients with growing confidence and clarity
  • Proactively communicate schedule concerns, budget issues, or project challenges to senior team members
  • Coordinate with project consultants under the guidance of senior designers
  • Contribute to a collaborative, non-competitive studio environment where every team member's input is valued

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
  • 2-5 years of professional interior design experience
  • Proficiency in CAD systems (Revit preferred)
  • Working knowledge of InDesign, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong hand drawing and sketching abilities
  • Some experience supporting or managing projects through multiple design phases
  • Familiarity with budget tracking and project scheduling
  • Solid communication skills and comfort presenting ideas to clients and team members
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team
  • Experience with or strong interest in high-end residential and/or commercial projects
