CIBC World Markets Corp. seeks a Managing Director, US Origination, Government Solutions Group, to advise, structure, and originate debt securities across a range of government and public sector issuers. Execute transactions for high-quality liquid assets in both the public and private placement markets. Collaborate with issuers and investors to increase product and currency suite for government and public sector issuers. Develop strategic relationships with leaders of international financial organizations to expand product and currency solution mandates across government and public sector issuers. #LI-DNI

Position requires a Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or a directly related field, and 3 years of experience with capital markets products and financial regulatory requirements. Experience must include a minimum of: 3 years of experience with advising on public sector debt capital markets origination; 3 years of experience with executing over-the-counter interest rate derivatives in single and cross-currency markets; 3 years of experience with overseeing syndication processes for public sector issuers; and 3 years of experience with analyzing cross-market implications and arbitrage opportunities. Part-time telecommuting is permitted. Up to 25% domestic and international travel required.
