Job description

Position Overview

G&G Holistic Consultation and Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated Bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. This full-time remote role offers a unique opportunity to provide in-home and group therapy services to children ranging from age 3 to 20 who present with developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. Our goal is to empower these young individuals and their families through tailored therapeutic interventions designed to enhance overall well-being.

About the Organization

Located in Glendale, Arizona, G&G Holistic Consultation and Counseling Center specializes in comprehensive treatment solutions for children and teens. We are committed to offering innovative therapeutic approaches and holistic support to caregivers and families navigating the complexities associated with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our team comprises skilled professionals dedicated to making a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.

Work Environment

This position operates primarily in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility in your schedule while still providing impactful support to families. You will have access to a fully electronic system for documentation and scheduling, ensuring that you can efficiently complete necessary paperwork while focusing on your therapeutic engagements. Support from an experienced Child Family Treatment Team is just a call away, fostering a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, either in-home or at our outpatient center, tailored to the specific therapeutic needs of children and families.
  • Implement specialized programs addressing anger management, coping strategies, and social skills, aimed at reducing high-risk behaviors like self-injurious behavior (SIB) and physical aggression.
  • Support families in improving decision-making skills to manage behavioral challenges in home settings, fostering healthier environments.
  • Collaborate with diverse professionals within the Child Family Treatment Team and external stakeholders to develop cohesive treatment plans for each child.
  • Complete all required documentation promptly, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings to share insights and make recommendations for ongoing treatment strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on children aged 3-20 who exhibit developmental and intellectual disabilities as well as their families. You will be instrumental in providing support to this diverse client population, ensuring that they have access to quality therapeutic resources and interventions. Your role will directly influence positive outcomes, helping to enhance the lives of children facing unique challenges.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted LMFT license is essential for this role.
  • A minimum commitment of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (between 4 pm and 7 pm) is necessary, with weekend availability considered a plus.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience providing positive behavior support in a clinical setting.
  • Prior work experience with children aged 3-20, particularly those with developmental or intellectual disabilities, is highly desirable.
  • A valid driverโ€™s license and access to a registered vehicle for in-home therapy sessions.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, as a condition of employment.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. G&G Holistic Consultation and Counseling Center values the well-being of our employees and provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • A collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Continuous training and professional development opportunities.
  • Group health coverage for you and your family.
  • Annual paid time off to promote work-life balance.
  • Options for short-term and long-term disability insurance.
  • A 401K retirement plan to help secure your financial future.
Career Growth Opportunities

At G&G Holistic Consultation and Counseling Center, we believe in investing in our team's professional growth. You will have access to ongoing training, mentorship programs, and avenues for advancement within the organization. Your contributions will help shape best practices and refine our therapeutic approaches, creating a pathway for potential leadership roles in the future.
