• Establish and maintain a positive, trusting rapport with clients to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and create individualized treatment plans based on client needs and circumstances.
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, focusing on improving communication, resolving conflicts, and navigating life challenges.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions and adjust plans as needed, ensuring client progress is monitored and feedback is integrated.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and refer clients to specialists when necessary, promoting a comprehensive approach to mental health care.
• Stay current with best practices and continuing education to deliver the highest standard of therapeutic services.
• Document client interactions and treatment plans accurately, adhering to all confidentiality and regulatory guidelines.

Your clients will encompass a diverse range of individuals and families dealing with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and addiction. You will play a crucial role in helping these clients develop coping strategies and healthier lifestyles, ultimately enhancing their overall quality of life.

• A valid and unrestricted license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Florida.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge in psychological theories and treatment methodologies.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices, especially regarding substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills aimed at motivating clients towards recovery.

• Experience in addiction counseling and knowledge of relevant therapeutic approaches.
• Previous work within outpatient settings or mental health organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a remote capacity while maintaining accountability.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic health record systems.
