As a vital member of our integrated care approach, you will collaborate with both mental health and medical professionals to provide comprehensive support aimed at positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to foster therapeutic growth and resilience.

  • Provide immediate crisis intervention to support patients experiencing mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and empathetic engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of patients grappling with mental health issues, many of whom also face concurrent medical problems. Our patients come from various backgrounds and present a range of challenges, allowing for a rewarding and fulfilling professional experience as you tailor your approaches to meet complex needs.

Qualifications
  • Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.
  • Solid understanding and experience addressing the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering trust and rapport with patients and colleagues alike.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries whilst ensuring the confidentiality of patient information.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems and common computer applications.
