Description:

Clientย  requires a MuleSoft Developer with senior experience to perform software development,ย support and testing services in a remote work environment. This position shall work with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, lead engineer, AVP of Integrations and Architecture and Sprint team to provide the following services to the Integrations Team. Services include, but are not limited to,ย Specific knowledge, expertise, tasks, and deliverables as outlined below:

โ€ข Provide approaches and strategies that focus on the most challenging solutions.

โ€ข Be a trusted advisor to the enterprise architects implementing.

โ€ข Contribute and advance the integrations strategy.

โ€ข Develop foundational elements to advance the implementation of integration strategy.

โ€ข Work with individual team members and offshore contractors to mentor them on followingย the bestย practices.

o Provide technical and best practices coaching to all team members.

โ€ข Successfully deliver solutions that meet all acceptance criteria for the assigned stories.

โ€ข Provide expertise, knowledge, guidance, and support to the Integrations team members in the areas of best practices, use of development techniques, with a focus on reuse and consistency within the MuleSoft Platform.

o Resolve issues that may arise due to development challenges.

โ€ข Provide re-usable assets such as modules, code, algorithms along with any documentation for developers, such as tutorials, examples, samples or templates.

โ€ข Ensure that the Sprint team is fully informed about the story and task progress, actively participating in agile ceremonies including daily standups, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.

o Maintain the status of all tasks, bugs, and user stories, as assigned.

โ€ข Review the current software development cycle practices and provide appropriate suggestions to improve team efficiency.

โ€ข Evaluate deliverables and provide suggestions for improvement.

o Actively review and update as needed best practices for quality including peer reviews, solution reviews, release management, quality validation and documentation.

โ€ข Assist in the deployment, configuration, monitoring, and support of the CloudHub environment and deployed applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

โ€ข Documents and maintains consistent architecture and technical approaches to web-based development projects. This includes the use of full-stack technologies used to deliver the solution, from relational databases to web services to front-end code and HTML.

โ€ข Participates and performs in code, environment, and design reviews to ensure that quality work.

โ€ข Participates in Agile software development practices across teams including task workflow, code repository practices, as well as CI/CD pipeline.

โ€ข Works/ learns several development frameworks including Cold Fusion, Java, Javascript, JQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS, XML, AEM.

โ€ข Works with a variety of database systems including MySQL and Oracle.

โ€ข Works with clients as well as internal development, project management, user experience, server engineering, and quality assurance teams to create web interfaces and solutions for AccelerEdโ€™s clients.

โ€ข Escalates and responds to emergencies and urgent issues with the appropriate level of urgency and professionalism.

โ€ข Provides on-call support for emergencies and outages.

โ€ข Works closely with other internal AccelerEd teams to define and maintain the infrastructure necessary to support clients.

โ€ข Performs deployment tasks including code deployment, data migration, and verification testing

โ€ข Provides administrative and user support for Content Management system (maintaining user base, permission, etc.).

โ€ข Provides support to client web producers and content authors.

โ€ข Implement And Deploy MuleSoft ESB Solutions

โ€ข Building, Maintaining, and Deploying MuleSoft Applications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.

โ€ข MuleSoft Certified Developer

โ€ข 3-6 years of relevant professional experience

โ€ข Experience with RESTful web services

โ€ข Experience in the entire software development lifecycle

โ€ข Expertise in areas including cloud computing, API integration, cloud messaging, ground-to-cloud connectivity, highly scalable distributed systems

โ€ข Experience with Java, RAML, and JSON

โ€ข Experience with MuleSoft DataWeave

โ€ข Experience using Maven

ย 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

โ€ข Proficiency in writing queries, stored procedures for SQL Server and/or Oracle

โ€ข Understanding of Queuing solutions

โ€ข Knowledge and experience using some of the following technologies: HTML, CSS, AJAX, Bootstrap, JSON, Java, Javascript, Cold Fusion, relational databases, Web Services, XML, and related technologies. Experience with Source Control systems such as Team Foundation Server

โ€ข Knowledge of Content Management Systems including Adobe and CommonSpot is nice to have

โ€ข Knowledge of higher education practices, technologies, and challenges

โ€ข Knowledge of working with integrations connecting major platforms like LMS โ€“ D2L , SIS โ€“ PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, CRM โ€“ Salesforce, ERP โ€“Workday and AEM

โ€ข Knowledge of best practices in coding, architecture, and web development

โ€ข Must be detail-oriented and logical

โ€ข Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

โ€ข Strong verbal communication skills

โ€ข Ability to keep up with new business and technical concepts

โ€ข Able to work with minimal supervision
