    • Hourly Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 Depending on Experience

Position Overview: The Full Revenue Cycle Specialist is responsible for supporting all teams within the revenue cycle including, but not limited to, eligibility, payment posting, insurance follow-up, and denial appeals.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support all RCM sub-teams as directed by Sr. Director of RCM
  • Confirms patient insurance verification and eligibility.
  • Evaluate insurance contracts in place to determine patient financial liability.
  • Pulls medical records as needed.
  • Posts manual/electronic payments and adjustments in EMR system.
  • Responsible for ad hoc RCM projects as assigned
  • Assists with follow-up and denial team overflow
  • Review claims for coding, documentation, and billing
  • Corresponds with patients to establish payment plans on large balances.

Supervisory or Managerial Responsibility: 

  • None

Other Duties:

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associates degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a healthcare or insurance company setting. Experience with insurance verification and benefit sharing preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
