Your primary focus will be serving students within school environments, collaborating closely with educators and administration to provide comprehensive mental health services. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Sun Valley Consultation Services, you will:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of psychosocial and emotional issues impacting students and their families.
• Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial assessments to identify barriers to treatment and formulate actionable intervention strategies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and employ various therapeutic modalities, including individual and group therapy, to facilitate healing and personal growth.
• Collaborate with educators and healthcare providers to create integrated care plans that enhance educational outcomes and promote overall student well-being.
• Document social work activities and patient interactions in compliance with departmental and agency standards.
• Provide psychoeducation to students and families, offering guidance on coping strategies and resources available in the community.
• Advocate for patients by identifying their needs within the local community and connecting them with appropriate services.
• Track case-related statistics meticulously and complete required reports to inform departmental assessments of service impact.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in social work and mental health care.

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma-related responses. Your work will directly contribute to creating a supportive learning environment for students by helping them overcome personal challenges that may impede their academic performance and social development.

To qualify for this role, you will need:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license issued by the State Board of Social Work Licensure.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health principles, including an understanding of various age groups and developmental stages.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across diverse professional environments.

While the minimum requirement is six months of clinical experience, candidates with a year or more of experience in school settings or mental health practices focusing on children and adolescents will be preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based interventions and crisis intervention strategies will be considered an asset.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
