Weโ€™re seeking an experienced Fullstack Software Engineer to join our talented team and play a crucial role in developing secure, scalable, and innovative web applications that improve access to healthcare.
Key responsibilities:
As a Fullstack Software Engineer with a focus on backend engineering, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the systems and solutions that power our Healthcare as a Service integration platform. Working on both backend and frontend, you will ensure that solutions follow the highest standards to protect our customersโ€™ PHI, scale to customer needs, and write code that continues to drive innovation in our leadership of the Healthcare space.
What you'll do:
  • Design, discuss, and implement solutions for critical systems.
  • Write high quality and maintainable code, and collaborate with other engineers to uphold standards through peer reviews and unit tests.
  • Drive innovation around schemas and APIs, while ensuring maximum uptime for systems and customer integrations.
  • Develop frontend components that utilize API endpoints for end-to-end solutioning.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Support teams to ensure solutions are built with our customers in mind to solve problems.

How you'll measure success:
  • Have empathy in caring for peopleโ€™s wellness and the technological solutions that improve their lives.
  • Build solutions that are scalable and impactful, with logging and data to validate assumptions and to improve incrementally.

What you'll need:
  • 5+ years of professional experience with Go and microservices.
  • Proficient in cloud engineering, including understanding access patterns, schema design, and data modeling.
  • Experience with React/NextJS in a production environment with an understanding of server and client components.
  • Expertise in SQL/PostgreSQL, able to write optimized queries, perform migrations, and design for scale.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm).
  • Experience working with third-party API integrations; an ability to research, discover, and problem solve when the docs may not provide exact answers.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Skills that are nice to have:
  • Experience in healthcare or regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and secure system design.
  • Previous work with event-driven or distributed systems.
  • Experience with gRPC and OpenAPI/API.
