• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Provide crisis intervention and prevention planning, including creating effective behavioral guidelines and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and clinical records, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as determined by the clinical team to ensure best practices in treatment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement positive behavior support plans that facilitate client success.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes, maintaining adherence to state and federal requirements.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and relevant community and state service systems to optimize support and resources.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through attending conferences, workshops, and relevant committees to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Promote the organization’s mission and values through community engagement and networking.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support organizational objectives.

The patients you will support come from diverse backgrounds and may face a range of challenges, including emotional distress, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and other mental health concerns. Your role will be pivotal in guiding individuals from various cultural, social, and economic backgrounds towards recovery, emphasizing personalized care and understanding the nuances of their experiences.

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Possession of an independent LMHC license as recognized by the state board of Florida.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain thorough clinical records and preparation of detailed reports.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas and treatment plans to clients and colleagues alike.
• The capability to exercise professional judgment and make informed independent decisions in client care.

• Experience in telehealth counseling.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies and tools.
• Previous work with diverse populations in community settings.
• Experience in crisis management and intervention.
