Experience Required:

  • Sr Analyst role with minimum 8+ years of experience in data management, technology risk, or cyber risk management.
  • Experience with second-line risk functions or data governance roles within financial services

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong familiarity with theย Data Management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM)ย framework.
  • Deep understanding of data governance principles and regulatory expectations.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities.

  1. Review and Challenge of First Line Data Governance Program Deliverables
    • Evaluate remediation plans and deliverables.
    • Provide independent challenge to ensure alignment with enterprise data governance standards and regulatory expectations.
  2. Issue Verification Related to Data Issues
    • Conduct verification activities for data-related issues to confirm effective remediation.
    • Collaborate with first-line teams to assess root cause analysis and sustainability of fixes.
  3. Risk and Control Evaluation
    • Assess data-related risks and evaluate the design and effectiveness of associated controls.
    • Support risk assessments and control testing activities as needed.
  4. Metric Calculation and Review
    • Assist in the calculation of key data risk and control metrics.
    • Review and challenge metric methodologies and results to ensure accuracy and relevance.
