Archer Insurance Agency is a growing multi-state agency with offices in California and Tennessee. Were a hybrid Farmers Insurance with a small, tight-knit team, modern systems (Momentum CRM, DocuSign, paperless workflows), and a culture where every seat has one clear owner, a real scoreboard, and no micromanagement. Were rebuilding our structure around specialists and this role is one of the most important seats in the agency.

Responsibilities

You will own customer service and renewals for our California personal lines book (approximately 1,000 policies). California is one of the most challenging home insurance markets in the country right now which is exactly why this seat matters. Youll be the person our CA clients count on, and the reason they stay.

Renewals: work our renewal system renewals with rate increases under 10% go out via automated email; you personally handle every renewal at 10% or above with a proactive call, coverage review, and remarket evaluation.

Remarketing: shop and place hard-to-write CA home business across our carrier and E&S lineup, tracking every subjectivity and deadline to the finish line.

Customer service: endorsements (including binding changes started by our front desk), billing questions, documents, and carrier requests logged and completed same-day in our CRM.

Retention saves: same-week outreach on non-pays and pending cancellations on our team, a saved policy is a win that gets celebrated.

Account rounding: spot coverage gaps and mono-line households during renewal conversations with commission opportunities when they close.


Location & Schedule

Full-time, 100% remote. Live anywhere in the western United States.

California business hours (Pacific Time) are required (8:30am to 5:00pm PST) our CA clients are your clients.



Requirements

Active Property & Casualty license (required). California authority resident or non-resident or the ability to obtain it before your start date.

At least 2 years of insurance service experience (required). Personal lines strongly preferred.

Comfort working carrier portals and an agency management system/CRM; you keep clean records without being told.

The discipline of a great remote employee: reachable, organized, deadline-driven, and honest about whats on your plate.

Clear, warm communication on the phone and in writing you can deliver a rate increase and keep the client.

Ability to work California business hours (Pacific Time) are required our CA clients are your clients

Nice to Have

California homeowners / hard-market experience (FAIR Plan, E&S carriers, wholesale platforms).

Farmers Insurance product familiarity.

Experience owning a renewal book or retention numbers youre proud of.
