Job description

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its Seattle office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a collaborative team. Candidates must hold an active license to practice law in Washington State. Residency in Oregon is permitted.

Ideal candidates will have at least three - five years of experience in insurance coverage law and a strong background in third-party coverage, including drafting coverage opinions and handling coverage litigation. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.

The successful candidate will work closely with an attorney whose practice focuses on complex insurance coverage and bad faith litigation in both state and federal courts. Their expertise spans various types of insurance policies, including commercial general liability, directors and officers, errors and omissions, commercial auto liability, excess casualty, and environmental coverage.

Responsibilities include analyzing and drafting coverage opinions, representing clients in coverage litigation matters, maintaining clear and professional communication with clients and carriers, and ensuring timely and high-quality work across all assignments.

Candidates must be licensed in Washington with Oregon admission being a plus.

We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including eligibility for both discretionary and performance-based bonuses, as well as student loan repayment assistance.

As a national firm with a diverse and flexible workforce, including remote roles, alternative work arrangements, and contract opportunities throughout the country, our compensation structure reflects the wide range of career paths available within our platform.
