Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced and results driven First Party Property Claims Supervisor to lead a team of property adjusters handling homeowners, dwelling fire, condo and other residential property claims. This role is responsible for driving claim quality, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer service throughout the claim lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings strong technical property expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for developing high-performing teams.
Essential Functions:
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of outside property field adjusters.
  • Ensure timely, accurate coverage analysis and claim handing in compliance with company guidelines and state regulations.
  • Monitor and manage claim metrics including cycle time, severity and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with complex, large-loss, or escalated claims.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, legal, SIU, and vendor partners.
  • Support catastrophe response efforts when needed.

Required Education and Experience:
  • 5+ years of first party field property claims experience.
  • Strong knowledge of homeowners and residential property coverage forms.
  • Demonstrated understanding of state claims regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Xactimate and claims management systems.
  • Ability to make sound coverage and settlement decisions.
  • Must maintain a Florida 6-20 Resident All Lines Adjuster License.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • AIC, CPCU, SCLA, or other industry designations preferred.
  • Experience with catastrophe management a plus.
  • Experience handling complex and large-loss property claims.
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
