• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to understand their unique needs and backgrounds.
• Provide personalized individual and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the specific requirements of each patient.
• Complete all necessary documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, adhering to specified timelines.
• Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to support patients in maintaining stable mental health functioning.
• Create comprehensive discharge plans that facilitate a smooth transition back into the community while considering ongoing care needs.
• Maintain compliance with all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
• Commit to professional development through ongoing training and continuing education to ensure that you remain knowledgeable and effective in your role.
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to share insights and enhance team collaboration.
• Complete all mandatory training and licensure requirements, contributing to a culture of continuous learning.

You will work closely with individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional difficulties. Our diverse client base reflects the vibrant community of Springfield, Massachusetts, necessitating a culturally sensitive approach tailored to the unique dynamics of each family. Your expertise will play a crucial role in fostering resilience and promoting recovery within this population.

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required to qualify for licensure.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Massachusetts is essential.

While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, experience working with diverse populations, familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, and a background in outpatient mental health settings are highly desirable. You should have a proven track record of successful client relationships and demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and treatment planning.
