Work Environment

This position operates in a remote setting, leveraging telehealth to connect with clients via video conferencing and secure messaging through our Simple Practice platform. As a licensed therapist, you will benefit from the flexibility of setting your own hours, giving you the freedom to balance your professional and personal commitments. You will be fully supported by our administrative team, which will handle client referrals and ensure efficient appointment scheduling, allowing you to focus on what you do best—providing therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate client needs and determine appropriate treatment options.
• Create detailed treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices and cater to individual client goals.
• Provide therapeutic services through virtual appointments, utilizing video conferencing tools effectively.
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations using our Simple Practice platform.
• Engage in ongoing communication with clients, offering support and assessing their progress on a regular basis.
• Participate in team meetings and mentoring sessions that foster interdisciplinary collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a varied patient population including teens, adults, and couples, each with unique experiences and challenges. Your expertise will guide clients through issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship troubles, and life transitions. The telehealth format not only expands your reach to clients in Knoxville, Tennessee, but also to those in surrounding areas who may have limited access to mental health resources.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a mental health clinician (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) is required.
• Completion of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Strong foundational skills in treatment planning and mental health counseling.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills suitable for professional therapeutic contexts.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while effectively managing client interactions.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in psychotherapy practice with diverse populations.
• Previous experience in telehealth settings is highly preferred.
• Background in working with adolescents and families in a therapeutic context.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise. In addition to a generous fee split with zero overhead costs, you will benefit from the following:
