Position Overview:

The Senior (Sr.) Receiving Inspector is responsible for supporting manufacturing, supply chain, and new product development by inspecting products, components, and parts to validate conformance to specifications and assist in the resolution of quality related issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Working from blueprints, part models, engineering change notices, or established operating procedures, determine acceptance, rejection, or rework requirements of products or materials
  • Sample and test raw materials and incoming products to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Approve usage of components and parts to meet quality standards
  • Support and maintain ISO 9001 certification through daily work activities
  • Halt processes that could adversely affect product or service quality
  • Work with quality engineers to improve part specification clarity, metrology tools and associated processes
  • Assist engineering team to resolve parts quality issues on manufacturing floor
  • Ensure that appropriate corrective action (both internal and external) has been implemented and that the corrective action is effective
  • Work independently and identify areas of risk and opportunities for improvement
  • Present potential mitigation paths for areas of risk
  • Act as a point of contact for other teams within Operations

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Industrial metrology, broad measurement equipment and mechanical drawings interpretation proficiency
  • Experienced in data analysis and problem solving
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, throughout shift
  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
  • Desire to drive for excellent results in all facets of the job

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in a technical field
  • Proficient in GD&T and interpreting engineering prints
  • Five or more years of related experience in parts inspection
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and can adjust to changing initiatives
  • Experience in quality assurance methodology including ISO, Six Sigma, and Lean
  • Experience with print consumables and associated processes (ribbons, inks, protective patches etc.)
  • Experience in Oracle ERP System

Compensation Range:


The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $23.69-$34.74 per hour (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company's discretionary annual incentive plan. In addition to your pay, Entrust offers eligible colleagues and their dependents comprehensive health and well-being programs which include medical, vision, dental, a generous 401(k) matching contribution, life and disability insurance, mental health coaching, virtual fitness programs, paid personal time off plus 12 paid holidays, parental leave and education reimbursement.
