Days of Work: Monday - Thursday
Work Hours: 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
Work Location: On-site (Mankato, MN)
Starting Salary: $24.81 to $29.45 hourly

Job Description
Responsible for mechanical and for electrical inspection of complex mechanical equipment and/or electrical/electronic apparatus. Sets up and tests electronic components for conformity to manufacturing standards. Records type and quantity of defects. Make decisions of consequence as to acceptable quality, determine reasons for rejects and disposition. Work with suppliers and buyers to communicate defect information and corrective action responses. Work from complex and involved drawings and specifications. Responsible for review and generation of inspection documents. Use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments and testing devices. Minimum supervision. Ten thousand (10,000) hours experience required to become familiar with and understand inspection principles and procedures, to acquire knowledge of inspection instruments and their purpose, manufacturing methods and inspection techniques. Performs other duties as designated by supervisor, in the same salary grade or below.
EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Vocational or high school graduate required plus a formal accredited apprenticeship or equivalent training in inspection.
Must be a sole US citizen.
