As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will have a pivotal role in supporting patients throughout their recovery journey. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments through interviews, observations, and examination of medical records to evaluate emotional, social, and environmental factors affecting patients' recovery.
• Providing compassionate counseling and emotional support to patients and their families, navigating adjustment issues, grief, and coping strategies throughout the recovery process.
• Working collaboratively with our team of rehabilitation specialists to develop individualized treatment plans that address each patient’s psychosocial needs alongside their clinical requirements.
• Assisting patients in identifying and accessing community resources, including support groups, vocational rehabilitation, and housing assistance, ensuring a well-rounded approach to recovery.
• Supporting patients and families with education regarding community resources and post-rehabilitation services, aimed at fostering long-term recovery success.
• Taking part in discharge planning and facilitating safe transitions from inpatient to home care or alternate settings, ensuring continuity in care.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse array of clients undergoing detoxification and rehabilitation from various substance use disorders. To succeed in this role, the following qualifications are required:

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Solid understanding of psychosocial dynamics, recovery processes, and coping mechanisms related to substance use disorders.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with patients remotely.
