Job Description:

House of Hearts ABA is seeking a highly experienced ABA Therapy Medical Billing & Credentialing Specialist to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of ABA-specific billing experience, handling both in-network and out-of-network claims, and must have extensive knowledge of the entire contracting and credentialing process. This role requires expertise in insurance verification, authorizations, claims processing, and provider enrollment.

Responsibilities:
  • Process in-network and out-of-network claims efficiently and accurately.

  • Obtain Verification of Benefits (VOBs) and ensure all coverage details are reviewed.

  • Manage prior authorizations for ABA therapy services.

  • Handle Single Case Agreements (SCAs) and negotiate terms with insurance providers.

  • Submit insurance contracts and manage the entire credentialing and contracting process to enroll providers with insurance networks.

  • Coordinate all front-desk billing tasks, including managing various insurance portals and direct calls to payers.

  • Track and follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely payment.

  • Maintain compliance with insurance policies, coding requirements, and industry regulations.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of ABA-specific medical billing and credentialing experience (Required).
