This full-time remote position offers an annual salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000, presenting a significant opportunity for a qualified social worker to make a profound impact in the lives of patients and their families during critical times.

About the Organization

Gotham Enterprises Ltd operates a thriving medical center that prioritizes comprehensive healthcare with a special emphasis on mental health services. Our hospice center is committed to delivering compassionate support to patients facing life-limiting illnesses, ensuring that they experience comfort, dignity, and emotional support in their final days. We cultivate an environment where both our patients and employees feel empowered, fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and dedication to service excellence.

Work Environment

This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while being part of a supportive and collaborative virtual team. The hospice center emphasizes work-life balance, offering flexibility in your schedule to ensure you can meet both personal and professional commitments. With minimal paperwork and a full caseload, you will focus primarily on what matters most: providing outstanding care and support to your patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand the mental and emotional needs of patients, developing individualized treatment plans that cater to those needs.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, providing counseling and psychotherapy tailored to each patient's unique situation and challenges.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in a timely manner, adhering to best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and chaplains, to deliver comprehensive care as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Educate and empower patients and their families about mental health issues, coping strategies, and available resources to facilitate holistic care.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed about current research and trends in mental health care and hospice services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LCSW at our hospice center, you will work directly with patients facing terminal illnesses and their families. You will help these patients navigate complex emotional and psychological challenges while focusing on enhancing their quality of life. Your role is crucial in providing comfort, empathy, and understanding during one of life's most difficult transitions, ensuring that both patients and their loved ones have the necessary support and resources at their disposal.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
  • A valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Florida.
  • In-depth knowledge of solution-based psychotherapy and effective therapeutic interventions.
  • Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving abilities, essential for effective patient interactions and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in hospice, palliative care, or mental health settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the emotional and psychological needs of terminally ill patients and their families.
  • Previous experience utilizing telehealth platforms to conduct therapy sessions is an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary between USD 80,000 and 100,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans to support your health and well-being.
  • Life and disability insurance for peace of mind.
  • Professional liability insurance to protect you in your practice.
  • Access to an employee assistance program focused on mental health support for employees and their families.
  • Minimal paperwork requirements, allowing you to focus on patient care rather than administrative tasks.
  • A full caseload, ensuring a busy yet fulfilling schedule that aligns with your professional goals.
Career Growth Opportunities

Joining our team not only presents an opportunity to make a significant impact but also allows for personal and professional growth. We offer continuous education opportunities, training workshops, and potential avenues for advancement within the organization, enhancing your skills while preparing you for future leadership roles.

Why Join Our Team
