This role is fully remote, designed to provide work-life balance while ensuring you can actively participate in collaborative treatments. You will be part of a caring, interdisciplinary team, comprising psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, harnessing every member's expertise to address the complex needs of our clients. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional evening hours scheduled based on client appointments.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use issues, ensuring comprehensive understanding of their unique needs, including co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate closely with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and target both mental health and substance use treatment.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at equipping clients with essential coping mechanisms, relapse prevention strategies, and skills for emotional regulation.

• Engage in care coordination with our multidisciplinary team, promoting a seamless, integrated approach to treatment across various therapeutic levels.

• Implement regular substance use monitoring and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage active participation in the recovery process.

• Educate clients and their families about the intricate connection between mental health and substance use issues, emphasizing adherence to treatment protocols.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation of client progress and interventions, adhering to ethical and legal standards to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and ongoing training initiatives focused on the treatment of co-occurring disorders to enhance team knowledge and collaborative strategies.

You will work predominantly with individuals facing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, guided by a philosophy that centers on understanding and addressing the dual challenges they encounter. Your empathetic approach will empower clients as they navigate their paths to stability and recovery.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for co-occurring disorders such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team structure.

• At least two years of experience providing mental health counseling in clinical settings, ideally involving co-occurring disorders.

• Experience in facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems for documentation and reporting.
