Job description

Apiphani is a technology-enabled managed services company dedicated to redefining what it means to support mission-critical enterprise workloads. We're a small but rapidly growing company, which means there's lots of room for growth and learning opportunities abound!

Apiphani is dedicated to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment for all as a fundamental component of our business. Diversity and inclusion are the bedrock of creativity and innovation. Without diversity of experience and thought, we would fail to progress as a company and as a team. Apiphani strives to foster an environment of belonging, where every employee feels respected, valued, and empowered. We embrace the unique experiences, perspective, and cultural background, which only you can bring to the table.

SAP Innovation Architect — Agentic AI Platform

Location: Remote | Full-time | Competitive Compensation

At Apiphani, we're building the future of intelligent infrastructure automation through Luumen, our agentic AI platform designed to automate, secure, and optimize enterprise IT environments.

We're looking for an experienced SAP Innovation Architect to help shape the next generation of SAP automation and AI-driven operations. This role combines deep SAP technical expertise with a visionary mindset — someone who can connect the realities of SAP landscapes with the potential of intelligent automation.

You'll help design, build, and evolve SAP-centric automations and features that solve real-world enterprise challenges across Basis, Security, and functional domains.

What You'll Do

Automation & Development

  • Design and build SAP automations that streamline operations and reduce manual effort across Basis, Security, and functional processes

  • Maintain and evolve Luumen's ABAP role and supporting assets as new SAP features and functions are introduced

  • Collaborate with Luumen's engineering team to ensure SAP integrations are scalable, resilient, and secure

  • Develop prototypes that validate automation workflows and support production-grade deployment

Product Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to expand Luumen's SAP-centric capabilities and translate them into product features

  • Serve as the SAP subject-matter expert for the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with ECC, S/4HANA, and Cloud ERP initiatives

  • Prototype and validate new use cases that leverage AI/ML within SAP landscapes

  • Work with product leadership to define requirements for SAP agents, connectors, and observability features

Support & Enablement

  • Provide advanced technical support for SAP-related product issues escalated by internal or customer teams

  • Mentor junior engineers and share best practices for SAP automation and monitoring

  • Partner with presales and customer success teams to demonstrate SAP-related functionality in client engagements

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, reference architectures, and knowledge-sharing resources

Thought Leadership & Vision

  • Stay ahead of SAP roadmap developments and industry trends to anticipate customer needs and shape Luumen's product direction

  • Act as a trusted advisor internally and externally on SAP architecture, automation, and cloud transformation

  • Represent Luumen through blogs, webinars, and events — positioning the platform as a leader in SAP and AI-driven operations

What We're Looking For
  • 8+ years of hands-on SAP experience, including Basis administration, ABAP development, and SAP integrations

  • Strong understanding of SAP Security (roles, authorizations, and compliance considerations)

  • Proven experience with S/4HANA migrations, Cloud ERP, or RISE with SAP initiatives

  • Demonstrated success designing scalable, reliable, and innovative SAP solutions

  • Ability to bridge SAP technical depth with AI and automation strategy

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify and convey complex ideas to technical and business audiences

Bonus Points
  • Experience working in a SaaS or software product organization influencing product strategy

  • Exposure to AI/ML applications within enterprise IT or operations

  • Familiarity with ITIL, DevOps, and managed services delivery models

  • Background in presales or solution architecture with direct customer engagement

  • Passion for mentoring and cross-functional collaboration

Why Join Apiphani

You'll join a global, high-performing team redefining how enterprises manage SAP systems through intelligent automation. This is an opportunity to shape both the technology and strategy behind Luumen's SAP capabilities — driving innovation at the intersection of AI, automation, and enterprise operations.

At Apiphani, your expertise won't just maintain systems — it will help reimagine how SAP runs in the age of agentic AI.
