These labs use digital tools and collaborative platforms to connect participants who work remotely, enabling innovation without the need for a physical space. Companies often use remote innovation labs to tap into global talent, reduce overhead costs, and accelerate the innovation process while maintaining flexibility for team members.

How does working in a Remote Innovation Labs team typically differ from a traditional in-office innovation role?

Working in a Remote Innovation Labs team often means greater autonomy and flexibility, but also requires strong self-motivation and proactive communication. • Own and prioritize the product backlog within Jira, making roadmap decisions based on customer feedback, business value, and technical feasibility
  • Drive product discovery activities including user research, experimentation, proof-of-concepts, mockups, MVP development, and rapid validation
  • Translate successful pilots into scalable, production-ready AI product capabilities
  • Navigate AI governance, compliance, privacy, and regulatory considerations throughout the product lifecycle

  • Monitor product performance, customer adoption, and success metrics to continuously improve AI-powered experiences
  • Communicate product vision, priorities, roadmap decisions, and business outcomes to executive leadership and key stakeholders
  • Champion an experimentation mindset while balancing speed, quality, and long-term product strategy

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience prioritizing product backlogs and managing Agile development processes using Jira
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies including Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or related technologies
  • Experience working within regulated industries or navigating governance, privacy, security, or compliance considerations
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently in fast-paced, evolving product environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background working within AI Innovation Labs, Emerging Technology teams, or startup environments
  • Experience with AI-powered customer experiences, copilots, intelligent assistants, or workflow automation
  • Experience bringing proof-of-concepts and MVPs into commercial production
  • Experience supporting enterprise B2B SaaS platforms serving government, financial services, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI evaluation frameworks, or AI governance best practices
  • Experience collaborating with executive leadership to define product strategy, prioritize investments, and drive innovation initiatives
  • Passion for leveraging AI responsibly to solve meaningful customer problems while delivering measurable business outcomes
