Job description

The Sales Manager's main objective is to drive sales growth—measured by revenue, volume, and profit margin. The role focuses on customers in the dietary supplement, food & beverage, and health & wellness industries.

**Remote position based out of the West Coast United States

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow existing business within the United States.
  • Leverage strong existing relationships with major dietary supplement companies.
  • Drive ingredient sales using a value-based, consultative selling approach.
  • Identify and support customer projects that lead to long-term partnerships and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate on new product development, customer formulation challenges, and market expansion initiatives.
  • Regularly engage with R&D teams, procurement, marketing, and product development teams within client organizations.
  • Represent a diverse portfolio of ingredients and technologies tailored to market demand.
  • Monitor regional market dynamics, including regulatory changes, competitor activity, and unmet customer needs.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Nutrition, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Public Health, Pharmacy, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of sales experience in dietary supplement ingredients, specialty foods, or pharmaceutical products.
  • Proven ability to manage key accounts and lead technical discussions with customers.
  • Experience introducing new products and executing innovation strategies in a competitive environment.
  • Goal-oriented, with strong problem-solving and initiative-driven mindset.
  • Comfortable working independently in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM/sales automation tools.

Compensation: $100,000-120,000 plus Bonus and benefits
