What you'll do
  • Develop and formulate novel electronic materials, including conductive, resistive, and dielectric inks according to defense system requirements in close contact with customers
  • Optimize and scale ink formulations for different printing techniques and substrates to meet evolving customer and regulatory needs
  • Plan and execute lab experiments and conduct analytical tests and characterization (e.g., viscosity, rheology, conductivity, adhesion, stability).
  • Shape product strategy and identify growth opportunities in alignment with strategy, business development, and key account teams
  • Collaborate with and steer cross-functional team to execute technical strategy at customer, including product launches, complaint management, and new application development: (Sales, KAM, BD, PD, Operations, Lab Technician, etc)
  • Protect innovations by identifying IP opportunities and filing relevant IP.
What makes you a good fit
  • Master degree in chemistry, materials science, or a related field (PhD preferred)
  • 5 years of relevant work experience in the product development of electronic materials or ink formulation, experience in defense (or space) industry in an asset
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment for material formulation and characterization, experience with printing equipment and processes
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to design and interpret experiments
  • Experience and maturity with customer interactions. Willingness to travel to customers
  • Commercial/business development experience is beneficial
  • US citizenship or green card required

The salary rangefor this role is $130,000.00 and $160,000.00. This range represents the good-faith minimumand maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at thetime of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligiblefor incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. TheCompany also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actualcompensation will be based on factors such as the candidate's skills,experience, education, training, and work location.
