Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools and personal interviews.
• Develop tailored treatment plans based on assessments, collaborating with clients to establish achievable therapeutic goals and regularly monitoring their progress.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies, ensuring each session progresses toward the clients' personal development and well-being.
• Provide teletherapy sessions for clients who may have transportation difficulties or prefer virtual appointments, ensuring continued access to care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions to uphold ethical standards and comply with legal requirements.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to refine clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work as an LMFT at Harmony Mind will focus primarily on individuals and families grappling with various mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal conflict. Qualifications

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain trusting therapeutic relationships, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong empathy, respect, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences and backgrounds.
• Effective organizational and time management skills, capable of handling a diverse client caseload while ensuring administrative tasks are completed promptly.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a clinical counseling setting, preferably working with diverse client populations.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and techniques to ensure seamless virtual sessions.
• Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution is an advantage.
