Job Description:

If you're looking to take your career to the next level and to be a part of an amazing team and company, Parsons is now hiring for a Senior Bridge Engineer to join our Nashville, Tennessee team to support our rapidly expanding portfolio of major area projects!

While the position would initially be remote, candidates must be based near Nashville, Tennessee.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Performconventional and moderately complex bridge engineeringtasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.

  • May be assigned to a project or organizational team, or as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to intermediate-size project.

  • Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.

  • Commitment to quality and continuous improvement through innovation, creative thinking and improved results.

  • Establish and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with all employees, clients and other stakeholders.

What Qualifications You'll Bring:

  • 8 years or more of related work experience with bridge engineering design

  • BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis is required

  • MS in Structural Engineering is desirable

  • PE licensure is highly preferred

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office andMicrostation or AutoCAD

  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry standard and specialty bridge design and analysis software
