This role is particularly focused on AI and machine learning security, though responsibilities extend across the technology stack, including infrastructure and application security.

  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI threats, particularly those relevant to media and entertainment workflows
  • Lead initiatives to build and enhance offensive testing capabilities for both AI and non-AI applications
  • Conduct in-depth technical assessments of AI-enabled systems and deliver actionable insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support broader security reviews, including infrastructure (on-prem and cloud), appli-cations, content editing/transfer platforms, and media workflows.
  • Publish secure configuration guidance and work with vendors to assess and improve their content protection strategies.
  • Dedicate 50%-100% of time per week to one large client
  • Travel to the Los Angeles, CA area on a regular basis: once every one or two months

What you bring to the table:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably with a focus on offensive security and technical assessments
  • Demonstrated experience designing and securing infrastructure and cloud-native applications
  • Proficiency with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), especially with respect to deploying and evaluating AI/ML solutions
  • Ability to distill complex security findings for a non-technical audience
  • Solid understanding of traditional infrastructure security technologies, including storage, VPNs, firewalls, directory services, and endpoint protection
  • AI/ML certifications (e.g., AWS Certified ML, Azure AI Engineer) are a plus
  • Information security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, OSCP are also beneficial.

Salary:
$140K-$170K, depending on experience.
