This position is remote, allowing for flexibility and the opportunity to manage your work-life balance effectively. Despite the virtual setting, you'll be part of a dynamic outpatient mental health clinic. As an LCSW, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify the psychological, emotional, and social factors affecting your patients’ well-being.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that are tailored to each patient's unique needs and align with best practice standards.
• Implementing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based interventions, to address a range of mental health issues.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all patient records are confidential and up-to-date.
• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Engaging in regular case discussions and peer review meetings to enhance professional development and maintain high-quality therapeutic standards.
• Providing education and supportive resources to patients and their families about mental health treatments and community resources available to them.
• Staying informed on the latest developments in mental health research to enhance treatment practices continually.

Your role as an LCSW will entail working with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your ability to create a warm and empathetic environment will be crucial in establishing trusting therapeutic relationships that facilitate growth and healing.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a valid LCSW license in the state of Illinois is essential for this role.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting, with a demonstrated background in providing psychotherapy services.
• Comprehensive knowledge of solution-focused interventions and an understanding of various therapeutic techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective connection with clients.

While the above qualifications are essential, experience with specific populations, such as those with co-occurring disorders or trauma backgrounds, as well as familiarity with telehealth services, would be advantageous in this role.
