Job Overview:

Pay Range: $70hr - $75hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, software engineering, or cloud architecture.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud solutions.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Deep understanding of cloud architecture patterns, networking, security, identity and access management, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with cloud migration, application modernization, and microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Client Templates, or Bicep.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, highly available, and resilient cloud architectures.
  • Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to develop cloud strategies and technology roadmaps.
  • Lead architectural design reviews and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop cloud-native, hybrid-cloud, and multi-cloud solutions based on organizational requirements.
  • Evaluate existing infrastructure and applications to recommend modernization and migration approaches.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure cloud solutions meet compliance, regulatory, and security requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
  • Drive adoption of automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and cloud-native practices.
  • Review and optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Identify architecture risks, dependencies, and technical challenges and provide mitigation strategies.
  • Support cloud transformation initiatives and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles.

Nice to Have:

  • Cloud certifications such as: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect.
  • Experience with serverless architectures and cloud-native application development.
  • Knowledge of FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and operational excellence.
  • Experience in enterprise-scale cloud transformation programs.
  • Exposure to Healthcare, Insurance, Financial Services, or other regulated industries.
