Pharmacy IT Systems Analyst – Epic Willow Inpatient (Remote – Ohio)

Location: Remote (Ohio Residents Only)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $113,900–$170,851 annually
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | No On-Call

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy IT Systems Analyst – Epic Willow Inpatient to join our IT & Data Analytics team. This role is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and maintaining Epic Willow Inpatient while partnering with pharmacy, clinical, and IT stakeholders to improve workflows, implement system enhancements, and ensure reliable application performance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze inpatient pharmacy workflows and business requirements
  • Configure, implement, maintain, and optimize Epic Willow Inpatient
  • Provide application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, clinicians, and IT teams to improve system functionality
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, validation, and optimization efforts
  • Develop functional specifications and documentation
  • Support clinical and administrative application enhancements
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational security policies
  • Train and support end users on system functionality and best practices


Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited program
  • Active Pharmacist license
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed pharmacist
  • Epic Willow Inpatient Certification (REQUIRED)
  • Minimum 4 years of clinical or healthcare information systems experience
  • Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations and workflows
  • Experience implementing, configuring, and supporting clinical applications
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional clinical and technical teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and healthcare software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting healthcare IT systems in a hospital environment
  • Experience with application upgrades, testing, and optimization
  • Knowledge of clinical workflows and healthcare informatics
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills
