To thrive as a Remote Informatics Nurse, a solid background in nursing practice, informatics, and data analysis is essential, typically supported by a BSN degree and RN licensure, with additional certification in nursing informatics preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, health information technology, and data visualization tools is important for effective performance.
