Job Description
As Information Security Administrator, you will play a critical role in protecting and managing our enterprise systems, with a focus on Workday and cybersecurity across the organization. You will ensure secure configurations, manage access controls and respond to threats, while collaborating with leadership, IT Teams and Business Stakeholders. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your technical expertise, problem-solving, and strategic thinking will directly influence the security posture of the organization.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Workday Security Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for Workday Security, managing role-based security, user provisioning, authentication, permissions, and identity access while ensuring configurations align with organizational policies and security best practices.
  • Identity & Access Management: Administer user access across enterprise systems by maintaining accurate permissions, managing account provisioning and deprovisioning, enforcing least-privilege access, and ensuring secure, compliant system configurations.
  • Enterprise Security Platform Administration: Administer and maintain enterprise security technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Meraki, Trend Micro EDR/XDR, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, SIEM, IDS/IPS, VPNs, firewalls, local Active Directory domains, and other enterprise systems to ensure a secure and reliable technology environment.
  • Security Monitoring & Incident Response: Monitor security alerts, investigate suspicious activity, respond to security incidents, and support threat detection and mitigation efforts to protect organizational systems and data.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Conduct and support risk assessments, vulnerability management activities, disaster recovery planning, backup processes, security documentation, and regulatory compliance initiatives while assisting with internal and external audits.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Partner with application owners, system administrators, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to strengthen security configurations, improve enterprise security practices, support system implementations, and continuously enhance the organization's security posture through ongoing training and emerging technology adoption.

Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
  • Workday Administration: 2+ years of direct Workday administration and security experience. Including configuration, role-based access control, provisioning, and integration management.
  • Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise cybersecurity technologies.
  • Education: Minimum of a 2-year associate's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a closely related field.

NICE TO HAVE:
  • Education: Bachelor or Master's degree in Information Systems, Information Technologies, Computer Sciences, Cyber Security, Information Security or related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Workday integrations, cloud platforms, security tools, and enterprise applications.
  • Professional certifications: CISSP, Security+, CISM, CISA, CEH, GSEC, Microsoft Security/Compliance/Identity, and Workday Certification
  • Enterprise Systems & Platforms: Administer and secure Workday (including integrations: EIB, Core Connect, APIs, Workday Studio), Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra, Microsoft Defender, SIEM, firewalls, EDR/XDR, and other network security technologies.
