As a remote position, you will have the flexibility to work from your location while engaging with clients through our user-friendly telehealth platform. • Conduct thorough strength-based assessments that allow us to understand each client's unique challenges and strengths.
• Provide tailored interventions for a diverse range of clients, using modalities that may include cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
• Design and implement customized therapy plans that prioritize client resilience and skill-building, adjusting approaches as needed based on ongoing assessments.
• Develop and maintain crisis, safety, and wellness plans, providing immediate support and resources to clients in distress.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and record-keeping in compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training sessions, webinars, and collaborative practice discussions to stay updated on best practices in mental health care.

Our client population is diverse, encompassing individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will have a direct impact on enhancing the emotional well-being of our clients by fostering their resilience and helping them navigate their mental health journeys.

• A Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Must hold a current LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license issued by the state of Virginia.
• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, with a proven track record of assessing and addressing clients' needs effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.

• Experience in telehealth services or remote counseling practices is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to individual and group settings.
• Experience dealing with specific populations such as children, adolescents, or underserved communities would be an asset.
