OverviewThis is a remote position; however, candidates must be based in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area. The territory includes Texas (excluding Houston and El Paso), Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

The Territory Business Manager is the primary liaison between the company and our key customers in the field and ensures our market standing is secure and growth oriented. Our Territory Business Managers are the front-line support that drive top-line sales growth for the company. Acting as Trusted Advisor to our customers, the Territory Business Manager provides the best mix of product and information resulting in a superior Infection Prevention environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develops an in-depth knowledge of Contec's core products via successful completion of required sales training and utilizes this knowledge to successfully sell Contec product solutions to new and existing customers in the assigned territory.
  • Creates and executes a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports Contec revenue and profit targets.
  • Optimizes business development plan by maximizing time in the field and overall efficiency through development of leads.
  • Meets regularly with manufacturer representatives in sales territory to understand their evolving business needs and position product solutions to meet surfaced needs.
  • Continuously expands customer understanding and uses Contec product solutions and capabilities.
  • Builds long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with manufacturer representatives and their existing and new customers.
  • Maintains consistent communication and timely follow-up with manufacturer representatives and prospects and is available and responsive to their customer's real-time needs.
  • Works effectively with internal support departments (Marketing, Customer Service, and Product Development) to promote sales for new and existing customers to maximize Contec's visibility in the marketplace.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attends conferences, trade shows, and other professional meetings to promote Contec's product solutions and brand.
  • Submits timely and periodic activity (CRM) and expense reports.
  • Participates and works within ISO 9001 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec's quality goals

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 A Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university or five years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Demonstrated effectiveness in new business development and lead qualification.

Healthcare related certificates, licenses, vendor credentialing memberships or registrations are preferred but not required.
