Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Financial Systems Engineer with extensive knowledge in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle Financial Applications and demonstrate a proven track record of successfully managing and implementing complex information engineering projects. SOA certifications are highly desired for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply extensive knowledge of Oracle Financial Applications, Oracle Financial Application Workflow, and SOA principles to analyze and incorporate customer accounting business requirements into Oracle Financial systems
  • Participate in and provide support for the design, build, and implementation of Delphi system changes
  • Maintain all processes and functions currently performed by the financial systems
  • Perform comprehensive system analysis, design, programming, and testing
  • Prepare detailed system documentation and program specifications
  • Lead and manage the implementation of information engineering projects from inception to completion
  • Provide managerial oversight and leadership throughout the full systems development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver effective financial system solutions
  • Deliver formal presentations to diverse audiences, including executive-level stakeholders
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Qualifications

Required Education

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline is required

Required Experience

  • Minimum 12 years of demonstrated experience in:
    • Information systems development
    • Functional and data requirements analysis
    • Systems analysis and design
    • Programming, program design, and documentation preparation
  • Minimum 10 years of intensive and progressive experience in:
    • Managing the implementation of information engineering projects
    • Systems analysis, design, and programming
    • Client/server environments
    • Task-specific technical disciplines as outlined above
  • Proven managerial and leadership skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to deliver formal presentations to diverse audiences
