Join Sample Supports as a PRN clinician in our Behavior Services Team and make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities while advancing your career.

Position Overview:

Make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities in our social work-based Behavior Program! Sample Supports is seeking motivated therapists and clinicians from diverse backgrounds to join our team. This role is perfect for students pursuing their master's degrees who want to gain real-world experience while maintaining the flexibility to balance their studies. You'll meet 1:1 with adults with developmental disabilities for counseling, assessment, and consultation services using integrated evidence-based practices under the supervision of our licensed team. Our clinicians have options for flexible schedules, private and furnished offices for site-based sessions, and virtual caseloads. Sample Supports offers free clinical supervision applicable to most licensures and has in-house internship opportunities available to our employees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field is required (Human Services or equivalent)
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to transport individuals in services in your vehicle
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to provide transportation
  • Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including:
    • Physically intervening with at-risk adults using NVCI-approved techniques
    • Working with unpredictable and aggressive individuals, possibly alone in the community or their homes
    • Maintaining calm and professional intervention during escalated/crisis moments
  • Comprehensive training and ongoing professional development provided to ensure confidence and comfort in implementing support plans
  • Criminal background check required due to the nature of the work with at-risk adults
